BiographyDuncan McCracken's ancestry weighed heavy on his shoulders. While on one shoulder sat a multitude of proud Scottish soldiers, on the other slouched a multitude of befuddled Scottish drunks.

The Soldier, one of the two starting classes, is the first default class in Blitz Brigade. He has 750 health points, and has average moving speed. This class is designed to cover the Gunner and is made for medium and long range combat. Although he can capture the flag in domination mode twice as fast, he doesn't obtain any other abilities or special type of weapons that makes him more powerful. The soldier class can be molded into a makeshift sniper by equipping a longer-range primary like the Rosebud, the Poacher Premium or any other weapon with a decent aiming ability. This class is arguably the easiest class to use.
Ultra Ability Edit
He can stun other players for a certain period of time and easily kill them. The time of stunning other players, the time of the ability's duration and the recharge time can all be upgraded at the Warehouse menu in the Fusion-Ultra ability section.

The Soldier's primary weapons are mostly submachine guns, assault rifles, and battle rifles (with the one exception of The Hooligan). Most of the soldier's weapons deal plenty of damage if the skill points have been maxed out and the player aims at the opponent's head. These weapons can handle all classes, but they aren't always that great against maxed out shields. The player can aim down sight with all primary weapons until the Mafioso and others in with higher price tags.
The default weapons are the Shipley 9mm for the Allies and the The Scout for the Axis. Both are well used weapons. The Madford SMG is unfortunately not available in the shop anymore, probably because it was used to little and it was even weaker than the default weapons, a good weapon. After the Madford comes the Rommel 1911, which is also a very good weapon, especially when upgraded the 40% critical upgrade. You can make a lot of head-shots with it. The Woodpecker is a stronger than the Rommel, but it has got more bullet-spread, so you have to be close to your enemies to deal optimal damage. Twin Punch means double damage. This is one of the best weapons you could get playing in the lower levels. However, this weapon has been removed either.
The Reckoner is the first Silver weapon for the Soldier class, so be sure when you'll buy this weapon. It works just the same as the previous weapons, but it's even stronger. The Rosebud has a slower rate of fire, but it can deal massive damage from a far distance with it's scope. It's combination of sniper weapons makes this weapon unique of the others. The Fly Bane is a shared weapon with the Gunner. It isn't really unique or better than the others and you can't use your scope of this weapon, even though there is a one.
The Mafioso is the remade version of the Madford SMG. However this weapon is brought back as a Gold weapon with much higher stats. The Dandy is the last weapon capable of scoping, this weapon is probably the strongest because of it's Fusion weapon and overpowered stats. It was first released with the half of it's cost. But the weapon is still stronger than the Cobra, however it costs still 100,000 coins less. The Nail Gun is a bit weak compared to the rest because it's a very old weapon and it's almost forgotten. The Elapser is on the other hand something complete different. It can shoot trough walls and has got a great damage. You only have to be sure you'll hit your target because it's fire rate is a bit lower. The Hooligan is a very good weapon. It can take down his targets in no-time. It has an extreme fire rate and the weapon is shared with the Gunner. Cobra Strike got released after The Hooligan, but it's one of the few balanced weapons, which is a problem because that means the weapons is relatively weak compared to the rest of the weapons over 300K coins. The Triple Burn is a more recent weapon. It's the highest cost weapon in the game, costing 400,000 coins.
The Soldier has also got one VIP weapon, the Candy Blast. It's not the best weapon of the store, but we can recommend buying it though.
His secondaries are all pistols/handguns. All the pistols are shared with the Sniper. They have got a good range and are useful against targets that don't move to fast. You can aim down sight which is very useful.
The Allies default secondary is the BB 23 and the Axis' is the Berkel Carbine. They are pistol which means they aren't that useful, and more likely to be used when you're out of bullets. As the most of the pistols have the 9mm Knarr, the Bonamico Z77, the Skyross and Fancy Lady all got a good range and damage. However the Steiger .45, as being the best pistol, is popping out of the group. It has got an extreme good range and damage. The Ol' Reliable, which cost more than the Steiger, is the only secondary that is not shared with the sniper. It's also not really a pistol, more likely a pirate gun with two barrels.
This class is the middle of all classes and can be used for everything. But you can use his skills for multiple other All-class weapons or the soldier class can be molded into a makeshift sniper if you equip a gun like the Rosebud, the Poacher Premium or any other weapon with a decent scope.
Basic Tips Edit
- Try to avoid gunfire from the enemy by moving around left right.
- Try to taunt when you're sure you're safe.
- Try to shoot from a higher spot.
- Aim for the head when using a melee weapon.
- Try to capture a flag in domination mode in team.
- Be sure you get by the flag as fast as you can in domination mode so you can take out the enemy from behind if someone wanted to capture that flag.
- Run around the flag in domination mode.
- Open the menu inside buildings where aren't any players and you can't get spotted by the enemy.
- Protect your teammate if he's caring a flag on a distance that is far enough so the enemy can't see you, but also not too far so you can still pick up the flag if your teammate died.
- If your teammate is looking at his back while caring a flag, can you walk the way he'll walk to see if an enemy is waiting. If he isn't watching he's back, can you stand at spots where the enemy wont see you and wait till there might show up some enemies.
